How does Invisalign treatment work?
First your dentist will examine your teeth to ensure you are eligible for Invisalign treatment. Then we would provide you with a customised treatment plan which involves taking impressions or digital scans of your teeth to create a 3D model. Based on your treatment plan, a series of custom-made clear aligners will be created for you. These aligners are made of smooth, comfortable plastic and are virtually invisible when worn.
You’ll wear each set of aligners for about 1-2 weeks, gradually moving your teeth into the desired position. You’ll wear them for at least 20-22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Throughout your treatment, you’ll have regular check-up appointments with your dentist to monitor your progress and receive new sets of aligners.
Once you’ve completed wearing all your aligners, you’ll achieve your desired smile! Your dentist may recommend wearing a retainer to maintain your results.
